After several cold & frosty mornings, back to mild conditions with lots of thrushes singing early am
Derwent Res - GNDiver remained
Chester Moor NR - 2Hawfinch flew over (KR)
Chartershaugh - 4Black tailed Godwit
Hetton Lyons - 4Water Rail & 1Jack Snipe

Frosterley - large flock of 250Fieldfare
Leamside - female Ring Ousel
Seaton Snook/NGare - 4Shorelarks remain
Sharpley - pair Marsh Tit, a good record in the NZ34 area where WTit is king.
Low Barns - 4Goldeneye, 15Gadwall, Kingfisher, Water Rail
WWT - Tree Sparrows again starting to assemble at feeders - not such a common bird here nowadays.
RMs - Little & Great White Egret (x2 observers)
Chilton Moor - 3Little Owls active in the afternoon sun - 1 perched on post mobbed by Sparrowhawk

Excellent inland record of a Great Northern Diver up at Derwent Reservoir, found by club stalwart George Tuthill. Bird reported as showing closely at Cronkley inlet at 11:30.

Murton Moor Farm pond recording its second ever LittleEgret with an unseasonal Green Sandpiper close by at Seaton.
